About

The inspiration behind starting OrganicREADY came from my own journey to live a healthy lifestyle. Through this blog I will be able to express myself and educate my readers about my organic food journey. I’ve done a fair amount of research on the American food system. To be blunt, it’s downright messy! Our foods messy, the United States Department Agriculture is messy, the Federal Drug and Administration’s messy. We live in a doggy dogs world, and if you don’t educate yourself with the truth about this messy system, it’ll cost you your life.

I love labels! I read them and live by them. It’s imperative to read and understand where your food’s coming from, more importantly, what’s in it.

Through OrganicREADY you’ll be able to learn about organic foods, natural ingredients, tasty recipes, and petitions to sign. These petition are very important because they help to protect farmers and the food we eat.

Motto: If you can’t pronounce it, don’t buy it!

  1. I so agree with you! That’s my motto when I shop, too! If I can’t pronounce an ingredient in something, I won’t buy it. Started making my own granola for this reason! πŸ™‚ Thanks for the great blog! I’ll look forward to your updates/posts!

  5. Hi Karen! Thanks for the follow! It’s been a year since I moved to the U.S., and have learnt about the food system through various articles , it was quite astonishing to learn how baby formulas weren’t spared too ! I decided to go organic since then πŸ™‚ you are doing an awesome job on your blog !

    1. Hello Freda! You’re welcome and thank you for your kind words. I use to trust the USDA, but not anymore. It’s a cruel world we live in, and money is the root of all evil. All we can do is educate ourselves and spread the knowledge. Thank you for stopping by my blog. I am looking forward to your future posts.
